About The Position

Cérélia's newly established Frozen Breakfast Business Unit is driving an ambitious growth strategy, backed by two manufacturing facilities: US Waffle in Liberty, SC, and in Hazelwood, MO. To effectively support the rapid scaling of operations at our state-of-the-art Hazelwood facility, Cérélia is seeking a dynamic and skilled Production Supervisor to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. The Production Supervisor is directly accountable for line performance, including throughput, downtime, labor efficiency, and product quality. This role drives adherence to standard work, builds team capability, and ensures consistent execution across shifts. This role is responsible for owning shift performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost for assigned production lines. The Production Supervisor leads from the floor, ensuring execution of daily operations with discipline, urgency, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar fields.
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
  • Ability to interface effectively with plant personnel, outside contractors, and different functional groups within the business units.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems, finance, statistical process control, and KPI management systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership in safety & quality compliance.
  • Must be very effective working in a volatile and complex environment and work with a sense of urgency that drives effective results.
  • Strong influence management and communication skills, ability to gain organizational buy-in
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others.
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.
  • Experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own shift performance, including safety, quality, throughput, labor efficiency, and waste
  • Lead daily shift startup, execution, and handoff to ensure consistency across all shifts
  • Actively manage line performance in real time, including: Monitoring run rates and output, Identifying and addressing downtime, Escalating issues quickly when needed
  • Drive adherence to standard work, operating procedures, and GMP requirements
  • Ensure all products meet defined quality standards, including weight, appearance, and packaging requirements
  • Partner closely with Maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and rapid response to issues
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all EHS requirements
  • Lead and develop front-line employees through coaching, accountability, and clear performance expectations
  • Ensure proper staffing and positioning of employees to meet production targets
  • Drive labor efficiency and minimize waste, including material giveaway and rework
  • Conduct daily communication with team members, including: Shift huddles, Clear expectations for performance, Feedback on results
  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of shift performance, including downtime, output, and key KPIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FSQA, Maintenance, and Warehouse to ensure smooth operations
  • Hold team members accountable to performance, behavior, and attendance standards
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees to build a capable and reliable workforce
  • Perform other duties as assigned or of a similar nature or level
