Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
College diploma or bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering, food processing, or a related field required
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered

Nice To Haves

Experience in the food or dairy industry, an asset
Experience in a unionized environment, an asset

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end production operations, from raw material reception through to shipment, ensuring timelines and customer requirements are met
Deliver the production plan by achieving volume, quality, and cost targets
Plan and optimize resource utilization, including labor, raw materials, and production inputs
Supervise, engage, and develop teams, including hiring, training, performance management, discipline, and employee development
Maintain effective and positive labor relations, in compliance with collective agreements and company policies
Ensure the highest standards in health & safety, quality, and food safety, including oversight of sanitation activities
Monitor operational performance (KPIs) and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce losses
Actively contribute to organizational objectives, by applying policies, participating in committees, and supporting strategic initiatives
