About The Position

As a Production Supervisor at Amphenol Industrial, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. You will lead a team of production workers, manage day-to-day production activities, and contribute to the company's growth and success. This role involves leading and supervising a team, collaborating with management on production schedules, enforcing quality and safety standards, identifying process improvements, training team members, managing inventory, maintaining records, and addressing production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization
• Strong knowledge in lean, six sigma, and ISO 9001
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production related software
• Ability to gather, clean, and analyze data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to change

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, motivation and support to ensure maximum productivity and performance
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and execute production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient resource allocation
• Enforce quality control measures to maintain product quality and compliance with industry standards and specifications
• Promote and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement
• Train and mentor production teams members, supporting their skill development and growth within the company
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for compliance and analysis purposes
• Address production related issues promptly, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective action to prevent recurrence
