The Production Supervisor assists the Production Manager in supervising and coordinating production team members involved in pizza dough production. This role involves training new team members in job duties, ensuring safety, and maintaining food safety standards and consistency in the production and dough handling process. The supervisor is expected to be comfortable working in a diverse, fast-paced environment and will take on leadership responsibilities, including recruiting, interviewing, participating in training sessions, and leading the production team in the absence of the Production Team Leader. Key duties also include ensuring proper training on dough production, maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring dough formula standardization, ordering supplies, assisting with inventory monitoring, troubleshooting dough issues, and preparing various daily and period reports. Additionally, the role involves tracking and replenishing production inventory, coordinating with vendors, continually inspecting the production area, ensuring GMPs are followed, and making recommendations for operational improvements. The supervisor will also perform production team member tasks as needed to meet goals.
