About The Position

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of workers engaged in material movement, handling, receiving, loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining warehouse stock.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Four years of warehouse experience.
Two years of leadership experience.
Pallet jack and forklift certification.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure; meet deadlines; maintain a professional demeanor; work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to anticipate and solve problems.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
Experience with SAP.
One year of experience in a distribution facility.

Responsibilities

Enforce operational procedures related to verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, material handling, disposition of materials, and maintaining current warehouse inventory.
Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing; direct day to day warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
Inspect physical conditions of the warehouse and equipment; prepare work orders for repairs and requisition replacement of equipment.
Review work processes and recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product or service quality; suggest changes to working conditions to increase efficiency; maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation.
Assist employees, vendors, and customers by answering questions related to production processes, procedures, and services; mentor and train team members; handle general employee inquiries; resolve problems; conduct performance evaluations for warehouse staff.
Ensure completion and accuracy of reporting on warehouse activities and productivity, including timesheets, yields, pounds per man hour, and reduction of downtime.
