This role is a 12-hour Night shift, 2-2-3, 745pm - 8am. Job Summary: Oversee and coordinate the activities of production workers on the D Shift, ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations during night hours. This role focuses on maintaining production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
At least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate, train, and develop a diverse team.
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing-related field preferred.
Proven experience working night shifts is highly desirable.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct a team of production operators, technicians, and other manufacturing personnel during the night shift (D Shift).
Ensure production targets are met or exceeded in terms of quantity, quality, and efficiency.
Monitor production processes and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime.
Implement and enforce all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specified standards.
Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff.
Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, including shift summaries, output data, and incident reports.
Collaborate with other supervisors and departments (e.g., maintenance, quality control) to optimize overall plant performance.
Troubleshoot production problems and implement corrective actions.
Manage employee attendance, performance, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
