About The Position

Litehouse Foods is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead their Portion Control and Packaging teams. This role involves directing day-to-day production activities, overseeing multiple production lines and teams, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations. The Production Supervisor will monitor reports and data to troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvement strategies, as well as hire, train, evaluate, and coach team members. Key responsibilities include leading safety and food safety compliance efforts, adjusting production schedules, partnering with engineering to improve equipment, and driving team motivation, engagement, and accountability. Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or technical field
  • Previous leadership experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of production line machinery and processes
  • Familiarity with safety, food safety, and quality control procedures
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced setting
  • Skilled in reading technical documents and writing reports
  • Proficiency in basic math and interpreting operational data
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day production activities and oversee multiple production lines and teams
