About The Position

Daechang Seat Corp. (DSC) is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our growing team. DSC, established in 1979, is a specialist in seat frames with recognized quality and technology, holding TS16949 / ISO14001 certification. The Production Supervisor will manage daily operations to ensure efficient and safe production, lead teams, coordinate schedules, maintain quality, and address issues to meet production goals. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

5+ years of Manufacturing experience (preferably in automotive) with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems).

Nice To Haves

MES and or SAP working knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant manufacturing management frameworks.

Responsibilities

Manage employee performance and address any issues.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality control data, and safety procedures.
Prepare reports on production performance and efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
