Working and reporting to the Superintendent and working in a diverse team and collaborative community you will be: Responsible for overseeing operating employees and organizing equipment deployment to fulfill production and safety standards within the designated area. Coordinates and supervises daily production activities to ensure smooth operations. Sets priorities for the team to achieve task completion and coordinates work activities with other supervisors and departments. Addresses issues using established practices and precedents; decisions are influenced by policies, procedures, and the business plan. Facilitate lean and management system activities within the team or designated area.

Requirements

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, but more advanced degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience of Supervisory experience in a mining or industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of MSHA regulations and experience in a unionized environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of MS Office, Excel & SAP

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of refinery equipment, subsystems, lubrication properties and equipment troubleshooting.
