About The Position

Production Supervisors are responsible for directing the efficient packaging of a quality product, while meeting production goals and maintaining excellent communication with their team and peers on all shifts.

Knowledge of various computer applications (MS Word, Excel, ERP) and office equipment

Nice To Haves

An Associate Degree in a related field with 5 years of experience or a Bachelor Degree in a related field with 2 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote and enforce safe work practices
Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and operational procedures
Oversee employee performance including but not limited to coaching, feedback, performance reviews, disciplinary actions
Address employee questions, concerns, and conflicts promptly and professionally
Arrange and manage staff to meet production schedules and demands, ensuring adequate coverage
Lead and mentor employees in your assigned functional area(s)
Effectively utilize labor and other resources to maximize efficiency and productivity
Maintain accurate records, complete daily reports, and review department paperwork
Perform work tasks on the production floor as needed
Conduct inspections of equipment and procedures
Identify areas for process improvement, implement changes, and support team members in adopting new practices
Foster a positive and productive work environment
All employees are responsible for the quality and food safety of our products. All food safety and quality concerns/problems should be brought to the attention of personnel with authority to initiate action.
