About The Position

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Norman, OK. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations, lead a team of production associates, and ensure that all manufacturing processes meet our quality standards and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will be a decisive leader with strong organizational skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

Requirements

Associates degree or 10+ years of experience working in manufacturing environments
3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Experience in managing production teams
Working knowledge in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
Proficiency in analyzing production metrics and performance data
Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and OSHA compliance requirements
Experience with quality management systems

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
Experienced in coil assembly or fabrication in a manufacturing environment
Background in training and developing production staff
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring schedules are met and production targets are achieved
Lead, train, and mentor production team members, providing performance feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Monitor production processes and equipment performance, identifying and resolving operational issues promptly
Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a safe working environment
Analyze production data and key performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
Manage inventory levels, material flow, and resource allocation to optimize production efficiency
Conduct quality inspections and ensure products meet established specifications and customer requirements
Communicate effectively with management, maintenance, and other departments to coordinate operations
Prepare production reports and documentation, maintaining accurate records of output, downtime, and incidents
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of lean manufacturing practices
