About The Position

This role involves leading and coordinating daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for meeting production throughput, quality, and labor utilization targets. Key aspects of the role include supervising, coaching, and developing frontline employees, monitoring performance metrics, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and partnering with various teams to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or related technical field
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or behavior-based safety programs
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while meeting production throughput, quality, and labor utilization targets.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees through performance management, training, communication, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor production, quality, and safety performance metrics; identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of Lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, including participation in audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Lead shift communications, team huddles, and operational coordination activities while supporting emergency response efforts and maintaining accurate operational documentation and reporting.
