About The Position

The PDI and Finished Goods Supervisor is responsible for the efficient final assembly, electrical work, and ensuring quality and shipping readiness. This role involves supervising on-site YES, temporary, and contract team members to complete work and ensure material availability. The position collaborates closely with production, project management, and quality departments to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue and profit for YES.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment.
  • Experience with rigging cranes and heavy loads.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus - read, write, and speak Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of all team members at YES and off-site facilities.
  • Oversee the quality of outgoing product and provide feedback to all departments on any non-conforming product.
  • Supervise and develop both direct and indirect team members.
  • Serve as a key member of the Material Review board, collaborating with quality, project management, and production to determine product disposition.
  • Perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
  • Adjust and align parts and systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Complete all necessary inspection checklists and documentation.
  • Record any issues found and the corrective actions taken.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of vehicle condition and readiness.
  • Ensure that all work performed meets the manufacturer's standards.
  • Conduct final quality checks before vehicle delivery.
  • Communicate any recurring issues or quality concerns to the management team.
  • Participate in the required safety program and work in a safe manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
