About The Position

Raytheon's Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM) is seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor in the Sensors High Volume value stream. This role has overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team of 10-15 employees. The individual will lead a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe work environment, leading safety improvement projects, and engaging in daily interaction with cross-business teams to meet organizational goals. This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals, and identifying/implementing continuous improvement opportunities using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies are critical performance criteria.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies.
