Job Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations in a high-volume production environment. This role supervises hourly associates, drives safety, quality, and productivity performance, and ensures production objectives are achieved through effective manpower planning, adherence to Lean principles, and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a high-volume, cellular manufacturing setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
  • Experience in problem solving, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • High degree of comfort using computers.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be bilingual (English & Spanish).
  • Ability to stand for 10–12 hours per day and frequently lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment and tolerate temperatures ranging from 40°F to 90°F.
  • Ability to work other shifts and/or weekend hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Lean principles, Kaizen, and continuous improvement events.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise 20-30 hourly employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Drive safety, quality, and productivity performance in accordance with Lean principles, standard work, and customer requirements.
  • Determine daily manpower and work assignments to accommodate fluctuations in production demand.
  • Approve payroll and administer corrective actions and discipline, as needed.
  • Support manufacturing operations on assigned shifts and weekends when required without additional management support.
