About The Position

UniFirst is seeking a Production Supervisor to help lead the production team and drive strong performance. The role supervises plant operations in accordance with directives from the Assistant Production Manager and company policies and goals. The position includes an immediate opening and on-the-job training. The stated schedule is a 40-hour work week, five days per week, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
• Basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• 2–4 years of related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production process flow.
• Support training of plant personnel.
• Support overall morale and safety at the location.
• Report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems as they arise.
• Support production data entry and report review.
• Support management of inventory.
• Work with Production Management to address team partner concerns.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
