Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in packaging or related manufacturing.
Experience with SQF / Food Safety Programs required.
Strong in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Document daily performance reports by preparing and analyzing production data.
Manage and direct employees daily (shift size up to 25+ employees).
Oversee Bottle Packer, Material Handlers, Quality Technicians, and Mechanics.
Work in conjunction with Warehouse, Customer Service, SQF Practitioner, Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, HR Manager, and Plant Manager.
Oversee all traceability paperwork and ensure product is documented accurately.
Correct and report any unsafe conditions.
Train all employees on your shift.
Maintain scheduling of production to meet customer needs and maintain the lowest possible labor/overtime costs.
Review and calculate employee timecards daily, via Paychex system.
Provide coaching and discipline to employees under guidance of Human Resources.
Write and issue performance evaluations.
Willing to work a line to help the team.
