We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor US to join our busy and growing manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in the company's business language (English), both verbally and in writing
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Effective problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
  • Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude, must be approachable, humble, and open-minded
  • Proven ability to manage production schedules, labor resources, and performance metrics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience, preferably in assembly or industrial production environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; manufacturing software experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing company safety policies and safe work practices
  • Conduct safety talks, participate in incident investigations, and address unsafe conditions and behaviors
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA/IOSHA requirements and all company health and safety programs
  • Support onboarding and safety training for new employees
  • Lead and direct daily production activities to meet customer delivery schedules and operational objectives
  • Plan, assign, and monitor work to ensure production targets, quality standards, and efficiency goals are achieved
  • Manage staffing, attendance, scheduling, overtime, and vacation planning to support production requirements
  • Coordinate with Materials, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure timely availability of components and resources
  • Monitor production performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions as needed
  • Review work orders, bills of materials, and production documentation to resolve operational issues and maintain workflow
  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees to maximize engagement, performance, and career growth
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and address performance concerns when necessary
  • Develop training plans and skill-building opportunities to enhance workforce capability and flexibility
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and team-oriented work environment built on trust, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and ISO-based procedures
  • Manage non-conforming products and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, training, and performance records
  • Promote accountability for product quality while reducing scrap, rework, and downtime
  • Support and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Continuous Improvement projects
  • Analyze operational performance data and implement improvements that increase productivity, quality, and efficiency
  • Lead departmental housekeeping and workplace organization efforts while maintaining audit readiness
  • All other duties as assigned
