About The Position

As part of Ford's Manufacturing team, you'll help build world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles. The company is constantly developing new technologies and processes to increase efficiency and is seeking diligent, determined performers who think outside the box to help find better and more efficient ways to manufacture vehicles.

As a Production Supervisor, you are the vital link between strategic goals and daily execution. You'll be leading a dedicated hourly team, fostering an environment where they can do their best work and feel empowered.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3–7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or other relevant experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts/hours, including nights and weekends.

• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodology and / or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) Experience

Responsibilities

• Act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance.
• Lead and direct a team of employees that consistently makes high-quality products and meets or exceeds production targets. Take ownership of team performance, addressing shortcomings proactively and celebrating successes.
• Prioritize critical tasks and effectively allocate human resources to maximize efficiency. Apply a "Bias for Action," promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues to prevent larger problems. Identify and analyze problems, develop and implement effective solutions, make timely and well-informed decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Embrace a servant leadership style, focusing on building high performing, winning teams and investing in their growth. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating your team to achieve shared goals.
• Utilize data and insights to strike down downtime and quality defects, driving quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality. • Maintain a relentless focus on identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, improving processes, and driving innovation to enhance productivity, quality, and safety. • Actively listen to and value the perspectives of all team members and other department stakeholders. Be a partner with team members, the union, and management to continuously improve everything.
