About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role will lead and coordinate daily recycling operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production. The Production Supervisor will organize maintenance schedules, coordinate crews and contractors, and ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently with minimal operational impact. A strong safety culture will be fostered by promoting safe work practices and addressing hazards proactively. The supervisor will also supervise, coach, and support frontline team members to achieve operational and performance goals, and plan and monitor production schedules to meet quality, volume, and cost targets. Collaboration with maintenance, logistics, and plant leadership is key to driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated capability to lead and engage teams in a production or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and operational best practices
  • Ability to organize priorities, solve problems, and make sound decisions in real time
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
  • Comfort using production, reporting, and basic computer systems to support operations
