Production Supervisor, Metal Stamping Are you a servant leader who thrives in high-throughput manufacturing? Your Mission Protect people, deliver quality on time, and elevate performance through Lean thinking. You’ll steer the stamping press department to hit demanding targets while building an engaged, empowered team. Can You Build an unshakeable safety culture by enforcing policies, conducting audits, and ensuring PPE and training are always current? Lead investigations to root cause for incidents and near-misses—and implement corrective actions fast? Coach, mentor, and cross-train operators and technicians while recognizing great work and fostering inclusion and respect? Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and collaborate with union stewards on contract and disciplinary issues? Direct daily press operations to achieve aggressive output with consistent quality and on-time delivery? Assign work to optimize manpower, maximize machine utilization, and adapt quickly as priorities change? Partner with quality, maintenance, and engineering to troubleshoot, reduce downtime, and maintain steady flow? Lead 5S, Kaizen, and Lean initiatives; analyze scrap and bottlenecks; and roll out effective countermeasures? Keep meticulous production, quality, and safety records and communicate KPIs clearly to management? Resolve quality, tooling, and maintenance issues under tight timeframes through cross-functional collaboration? What You Bring History of leading with a servant-leadership mindset. 1–3 years in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing. Manufacturing supervisory background; high-volume stamping press experience preferred. Hands-on familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations preferred. Professional, internship, or co-op experience considered toward relevant background. Physical Demands Stooping, bending, and prolonged standing. Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
