About The Position

Viaflex is seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead, coordinate, and support our production team in delivering the highest quality products. This role is key to driving daily operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and fostering a positive, team-oriented culture. The ideal candidate will balance frontline leadership with active participation in production activities, ensuring smooth workflows and continuous improvement across the team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to coach, mentor, and empower team members to succeed.
High level of patience and service.
Ability to motivate team members.
Problem-solving abilities.
Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions.
Ability to be flexible and multitask.
Ability to read blueprints and maintain accurate records.
Proficient with a computer.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.

Previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides frontline leadership and support to production.
Understands and is capable of performing production function and spends more than half of the shift performing production.
Ensures flow of work and job rotation in production, either directly or through the production leadership team.
Ensures team members receive training needed for their position. Depending on division, may perform training.
Works with the production leadership team to ensure team members have a strong understanding of their job responsibilities.
Coordinates efforts to ensure proper safety and ergonomics standards and guidelines are met in the work area.
May lead or contribute to production improvement initiatives.
Ensures staffing requirements are met, either directly or through the team.
Encourages team member growth and development.
Demonstrates Viaflex Team Member Values in daily actions and encourages teams to do the same.
Administers annual team member performance reviews, goal setting, and participates in the salary planning process.
Maintains records on direct reports in relation to attendance and performance.
Maintains applicable records, including production metrics.
May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
Learns, understands, continuously improves, and promotes the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
