Accountable for ensuring WIP is processed correctly and efficiently in the department Accountable for maintaining proper consumable material levels Accountable for ensuring all shop deadlines are met Accountable for ensuring monthly revenue numbers are met Trains, coaches and develops employees as necessary to ensure production goals are met and proper procedures and policies are followed. Timely completes, approves and adjusts time and attendance/labor reporting as required Assists Manager in completing employee reviews and documenting work performance Ensures diligent use of the production software system Performs maintenance on aircraft and engine accessories following company policies, SOPs and Repair Station Manual. Fills in for and performs all duties of Shop employees as necessary Maintains and supports cost control efforts for labor and material to support facility/department financial goals Travels as required, typically up to 20% annually. Confers with manager to recommend changes such as equipment utilization, production methods and procedures to increase efficiency of department and promote improvement Attends all safety and health training, as required, in a timely manner Works when scheduled and complies with company attendance policy Observes and practices all safety procedures and PPE requirements (e.g. safety glasses, ear plugs, face shields etc.) and ensures others comply with safety requirements. Responsible for ordering materials, consumables, tooling and other assets required in the Department Works overtime as needed Other duties as assigned
