Requirements

• 3+ years manufacturing experience, with 2+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead production employees, including training, directing, conducting performance evaluations, educating, and mentoring on performance.
• Look after day-to-day production activities to ensure that current commitments are achieved while improvements are being made.
• Handle daily performance through the use of process center communication boards daily.
• Drive improvements in capacity, throughput, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions, and supports nVent's safety programs.
• Manage staffing levels and labor allocation to meet project schedules and production requirements.
• Review and submit payroll hours on a weekly basis, entering exception hours as needed.
• Support new process and product development and implementation.
