About The Position

Well.ca’s Warehouse team is certainly at the core of our company. Well.ca is currently looking for an energetic team player to join our Warehouse Team as a Production Specialist. The role of the Production Specialist is to assist in managing the distribution workflow on a day to day basis. The role will act as a constant and approachable resource for all Warehouse Associates, offering support and guidance in all areas of fulfillment and distribution.

• Ability to commute/relocate to Guelph, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Responsibilities

• A solid understanding of basic tasks within production (picking, sorting, and packing) with a willingness to be cross trained in other departments
• Collaborate closely with the shift lead to supervise team operations while coordinating with leadership to maintain workflow efficiency and achieve daily targets.
• Comfortable balancing providing solutions to challenges and roadblocks, which enables the team to focus on duties with jumping into production and assisting when required
• Coaching and assisting with training. Acting as an approachable resource to colleagues
• Monitoring and coaching individuals to help them develop a clear understanding of procedures which will then enable them to gain confidence as they become comfortable and efficient in their tasks. Assisting with performance reviews
• An understanding of the training requirements for Production Associates, as well as an appreciation for the importance of providing encouragement and motivation
• A passion for developing and helping team members
• Additional responsibilities as required
