About The Position

ADM is seeking a Production Specialist in Quincy, IL. This full-time role involves handling grain and waste, operating various facility equipment, monitoring product quality, collecting samples, and utilizing computer systems for data recording. The specialist will collaborate with peers and management to improve operations and maintain a safe, clean work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures. The position is on the 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with a base pay of $23.04/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or differential shifts
  • Successful completion of a background check

Responsibilities

  • Grain and waste handling through scraping, shoveling, and sweeping up soybean product and byproduct
  • Operate equipment throughout the facility which may include tractors with front loaders, skid-steers, manlifts, forklifts, UTVs, etc.
  • Monitor product quality specifications
  • Collect product samples and transport them to the lab
  • Utilize computer systems to input and record data as required regarding safety, sanitation, maintenance, and process equipment operation
  • Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
  • Monitor and measure tank levels
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures
