Requirements

  • Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or building supply industry preferred.
  • Ability to operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Strong mechanical skills and understanding of basic measurements and tolerances.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset
  • Reliable transportation to and from work, with the ability to consistently work early morning hours.

Responsibilities

  • Operate metal fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, rollers, and cutting machines) to produce roofing components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements to ensure accuracy in production.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing metal sheets and related materials.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Operate Warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard
  • Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions
  • Verify order contents and maintain documentation
  • Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
  • Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting
