About The Position

At our Jackson, TN Conagra Plant, we're producing Sandwich Bros. and Odom’s Tennessee Pride sandwiches. Reporting to the Production Line Supervisor, you will monitor and assist in line production labor while ensuring product quality. You will join a diverse team of over 400 associates. This role requires working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining product quality and food safety standards. Production Specialists are expected to achieve established line performance goals. Our goal is to keep improving and developing efficient processes within our production line, you as production worker will play an active role. Production workers will be trained and developed to support any position on the production line.

Requirements

Overtime may be needed to ensure fulfillment of production demand.
Lifting boxes of up to 50 pounds.
Climbing stairs.
Using hands in a freezer environment.
Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
Working in a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts that can be noisy.
Working in environments where noise levels can be high and temperatures may vary.

Responsibilities

Making Odom’s Tennessee Pride and Sandwich Bros.’s sandwich products by hand, including adding meat and/or cheese within the biscuit or flatbread pocket.
Achieving established line performance goals (current production targets include: 32 or 27 sandwiches per minute depending on assembly line assignment).
Performing product checks on Sandwich Bros. and Odom's Tennessee Pride products to ensure quality.
Assisting with equipment sanitation and maintaining a clean work area.
Following Quality Assurance standards.
