As a Production Specialist - Final Assembly employee with John Deere in Fargo, ND, you will: Perform assembly related operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: Assemble parts or components to specification. Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures. Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance. Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections. Use various types of tools and equipment to perform work - including but not limited to hand and power tools, testing equipment, ladders, hoists, fixtures, jigs, and gages. Assist and support other team members. Clean work area and equipment and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job. This is a first shift position.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
Ability and willingness to cross train in all areas of Final Assembly.
Ability to read, interpret and follow work instructions, including distinguishing part and quantity numbers.
Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
Ability and willingness to work potential overtime (including weekends).

Nice To Haves

Current experience as a contingent worker in a similar role at John Deere Fargo demonstrating strong performance and attendance.
Prior experience in an assembly or manufacturing role.
