TSMC Washington is recruiting Production Specialists to work on-site at our Camas, Washington location. As a Production Specialist you will be carrying wafers in small containers called pods throughout the production area to ensure production targets are met. You will be working in a clean room environment wearing clean room garments to protect the wafers from outside particles. Clean room garments include a full cleanroom suit, protective eyewear, gloves, hood, and a face mask. This is a physically demanding job requiring lifting, bending and long periods of standing and walking over a 12-hour shift. You could be walking up to 12 miles per shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a fast-paced team environment (Production environment is preferred, e.g., fast food, restaurant, warehouse, manufacturing)
  • Stable work history
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and possess an attitude that embodies our core values - Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust
  • Be a strong team player with a can-do attitude
  • Good time management skills and able to adjust priorities as needed
  • Good communication and computer skills
  • Have situational awareness and be safety conscious
  • Must possess legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screening (drug screen will not test for cannabis)

Responsibilities

  • Carrying wafers in small containers called pods throughout the production area to ensure production targets are met.
  • Working in a clean room environment wearing clean room garments to protect the wafers from outside particles.
  • Lifting, bending and standing/walking for long periods over a 12-hour shift.
  • Exchanging accurate instructions and feedback within high-activity workflows to meet production and safety goals.
  • Detecting and responding appropriately to safety cues, including visual postings and audible or signaled alarms within the work zone.
