QC Flex needs a Production/QC Flex Specialist to join their team in Rock Island, IL. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license with appropriate auto insurance.
  • Successful passing of pre-employment drug test; successful passing of random drug tests.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate total project efforts.
  • Production and computer experience required.
  • Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
  • Strength and flexibility to perform production work. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/work on your feet for 90% or more of your scheduled shift.
  • Ability to pass a federal background check.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Satisfactory completion of forklift certification before or within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the QC Flex Manager by coordinating production, machinery, and training efforts to ensure timely task completion.
  • Revise job sheets to enhance safety, quality, and clarity of process steps.
  • Collaborate with staff to efficiently organize and track training and activities.
  • Participate in staffing meetings, provide supervision, and proactively schedule training and production tasks.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and supplies, perform machinery maintenance, and oversee inventory management.
  • Support time studies and bidding processes to ensure proper cost margins are maintained.
  • Foster customer satisfaction through effective communication and high-quality work.
  • Keep comprehensive production records for payroll, job costing, and billing purposes.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized workspace by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Operate equipment safely during materials movement.
  • Assist with document destruction in compliance with NAID guidelines to meet audit requirements.
