About The Position

At our Jackson, TN Conagra Plant, we're producing Sandwich Bros. and Odom’s Tennessee Pride sandwiches. Reporting to the Production Line Supervisor, you will monitor and assist in line production labor while ensuring product quality. You will join a diverse team of over 400 associates. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, with Fridays when needed, for the 2nd Shift (4:00 PM-2:30 AM). This is a 10-hour day, 4-day a week position. Starting pay is $19.79/hour plus a 50 cent shift differential.

Requirements

Overtime may be needed to ensure fulfillment of production demand.
Lifting boxes of up to 50 pounds.
Climbing stairs.
Using hands in a freezer environment.
Being on your feet for extended periods of time.
Walking around the facility for extended periods of time.
Climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.

Responsibilities

Making Odom’s Tennessee Pride and Sandwich Bros.’s sandwich products by hand, including adding meat and/or cheese within the biscuit or flatbread pocket.
Performing product checks on Sandwich Bros. and Odom's Tennessee Pride products to ensure quality.
Playing an active role in improving and developing efficient processes within the production line.
Assisting with equipment sanitation and maintaining a clean work area.
Following Quality Assurance standards.
Being trained and developed to support any position on the production line.
