This position includes a variety of responsibilities and reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. The role involves assisting with grain and meal handling, maintaining safety and cleanliness of equipment and the building, and working in a fast-paced environment to complete various processes. This includes weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, labeling, storing products, and sanitizing the facility. The specialist will interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement and promote teamwork. A key responsibility is operating equipment associated with the loadout and unloading process for bulk materials, including trucks and/or rail cars, forklifts, skid-steers, and front-end loaders. Utilizing scales, pumps, conveyors, and semi-automatic packing systems is also part of the role. The specialist will use computer systems to input and record data related to safety, sanitation, maintenance, and processing equipment operation. Understanding and adhering to ADM's Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Food Quality standards, with a goal of achieving a zero-injury culture, is essential. Regular and prompt attendance is required.
