About The Position
JELD-WEN is one of the world’s largest door and window manufacturers, with more than 22,000 employees operating in 24 countries globally. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows. This role is for a Manufacturing Team Member with an immediate need.
Requirements
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally team lifting anything exceeding 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Accurately read blueprints and use measuring tools (MIC's and Calipers etc)
- Operate conventional machines such as Lathes, Mills, Surface Grinder, Drill Sharpener etc work on the CNC/Komo Machine
- Perform mathematical valuations, as well as read and understand technical drawings
- Start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
- Material preparation and material handling
- Other general warehouse duties as needed
- Work overtime as needed to satisfy customers demands
