About The Position

Lucky Goat Coffee is a specialty coffee production roaster based out of Tallahassee, Florida and making waves nationally. Since 2010, Lucky Goat Coffee has continued to remain focused on the expansion of the brand through exceptional customer interactions and company specialization. On the journey towards greater specialization the Production Specialist position has been created. This position serves as a vital member of our Production Team, displays a keen eye to detail, has an emphasis on quality control and a passion for expanding their knowledge within the coffee production world. The primary focus of a Production Specialist on second shift is to execute the processing and production of bagged coffee and related products. This role has a heavy emphasis on flavoring, grinding, bagging, sealing, labeling, and boxing coffee. While also focusing heavily on quality, speed, and product knowledge.

Requirements

Second shift availability - 2:00pm - 10:00pm
A dedicated and supportive team player, flexible, accommodating, doing what it takes to help others succeed.
Energy and persistence to see tasks through to successful completion and able to work additional hours when necessary.
Proven interpersonal skills - able to develop good work relationships, enjoy meeting and working with people at all levels and from diverse walks of life.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Lift over 50 pounds regularly and be able to bend, kneel, squat, among others.
An exceptional communicator both written and verbal.
Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
A reliable self-starter who fills time productively.
Always displays a customer first, positive attitude and approach to the business.

Responsibilities

Execute the processing and production of bagged coffee and related products.
Flavoring, grinding, bagging, sealing, labeling, and boxing coffee.
Ensure the fulfillment of coffee orders for Lucky Goat Coffee cafes and a growing wholesale clientele alongside the Production team.
Ensure the highest level of Quality Control (Quality Assurance) among all packaged coffee.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety (Good Manufacturing Practices and HAACP).
Provide daily cleaning and regular maintenance on production equipment so machines are always performing at an optimal.
Fulfill all retail and wholesale orders with the expectation of packed for shipment within 24 hours of receiving the order.
Complete any warehouse related tasks or duties assigned to them.
