About The Position

Sitemetric seeks a hands-on, detail-oriented Production Specialist IV who will help lead the construction industry’s transition to a safer, more secure, more successful building experience for everyone. We are looking for a rising professional eager to work with a fast-growing innovation leader in construction. As Production Specialist IV, you who will be responsible for building our scanners, Site Sensors, and card-readers, including inventory management, assembly, and quality control, along with maintaining close communication with the broader Sitemetric team. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Foundational understanding of electrical principles, including basic circuit concepts and safe handling of low-voltage components.
  • Familiarity with networking hardware, including routers, modems, and wireless configuration basics.
  • Alert and attentive to detail, with awareness of workspace hazards and a safety-first mindset throughout all tasks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to flag issues and coordinate with teammates proactively.
  • Proficiency with hand tools including crimpers, wire strippers, soldering irons, and multimeters.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude; committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and tidy workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily Everyday Inventory (EDI) assessments to verify materials on hand and determine build capacity for the shift.
  • Track in-office inventory levels for components and finished units, maintaining accurate stock records to support production planning.
  • Support order fulfillment by picking, staging, and preparing equipment for shipment in alignment with job site schedules.
  • Perform wire splicing and termination using appropriate connectors for card reader and access control assemblies.
  • Execute wire management across card readers, site sensors, and scan stations to ensure clean, organized, and reliable builds.
  • Solder wire leads onto site sensor PCBs, including reset button wires and solar panel board connections.
  • Connect, test, and verify batteries for site sensors and solar panel units.
  • Assemble site sensor units by mounting antennas onto sensor boards.
  • Build out complete scan station and access control systems, integrating all required hardware components and configuring each system for deployment.
  • Fabricate custom enclosures and install external antennas, cable glands, and other accessories as required by each assembly.
  • Apply weather-rated silicone sealant to equipment enclosures to create a weatherproof barrier and protect internal components from moisture ingress.
  • Provision completed units by configuring and assigning equipment to the correct job site within Sitemetric's software platform.
  • Label and number each completed unit according to production tracking standards to ensure full traceability.
  • Accurately record and label MAC addresses for each completed device to support network provisioning and asset tracking.
  • Perform QC inspections on all completed equipment prior to provisioning and shipment, verifying functionality, build integrity, and completeness.
  • Test each assembled device using appropriate tools and procedures to confirm proper operation before release.
