About The Position

OTHRWRLD, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a Production & Social Media Intern to join their team. OTHRWRLD is an award-winning creative production studio that produces high-impact fashion, beauty, and entertainment content, branded documentary storytelling, and original film. They partner with brands, agencies, and cultural institutions to create visually ambitious work rooted in real human stories.

Requirements

  • Currently completing an undergrad degree in film, media, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Genuine curiosity about storytelling, visual culture, and how ideas become productions
  • Strong research and organizational skills — able to synthesize information into clear, usable briefs
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment; proactive and solutions-oriented
  • Excellent written communication — able to draft correspondence, social copy, and concise summaries
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and social platforms; interest in learning production tools
  • Comfortable on set or in a production context — or eager to learn proper set etiquette and protocol
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Observe active shoots as a set PA — learning production etiquette, flow, and on-set protocol
  • Review and follow call sheets; attend prep meetings and pre-production walkthroughs
  • Support the production team with paperwork exposure — release forms, deal memos, and basic production documents
  • Assist with gear and vendor coordination basics — helping organize equipment lists and confirming logistics under senior producer direction
  • Gain hands-on familiarity with how a production moves from brief through shoot day to delivery
  • Research brands, directors, and campaign references to inform pitch materials and creative treatments
  • Compile documentary subjects, visual references, and cultural trends into organized research briefs
  • Identify potential creative partners, collaborators, and platforms relevant to OTHRWRLD's work
  • Support the development of visual treatments — gathering mood references, comp imagery, and story angles
  • Stay attuned to shifts in culture, aesthetics, and industry — bringing relevant discoveries to the team
  • Study how OTHRWRLD and peer studios present work across platforms — analyzing positioning, tone, and cadence
  • Help draft social post ideas, captions, and content frameworks for the studio's channels
  • Organize and maintain case study materials — credits, stills, selects, and project summaries
  • Assist in building an archive of completed work formatted for portfolio and pitch use
  • Learn how branded content is positioned for agency, brand, and platform audiences
  • Participate in story development sessions — learning how OTHRWRLD identifies and frames real human stories
  • Assist in building pitch materials: decks, one-pagers, and treatment outlines for original and branded projects
  • Learn how ideas are packaged and presented for brands, agencies, and streaming/digital platforms
  • Support research into grant opportunities, branded content partnerships, and cultural institution collaborations
  • Observe how concepts evolve from early idea through creative brief to production-ready pitch
