Requirements

  • Ability to work a rotating shift from 6:45pm - 7:15am
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing production experience, with a preference for plastic manufacturing
  • Minimum of six (6) months of people leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Process-oriented, with a sound knowledge of SPC & Quality procedures
  • Knowledge of GMP & Lean manufacturing principles
  • Interpersonal & communication skills to effectively relate with & motivate people
  • Experience using computer programs, such as SAP

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree is preferred.
  • preference for plastic manufacturing
  • preferably in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all facets of production line to consistently meet productivity, quality, compliance and safety objectives.
  • Supervise team member daily activities.
  • Coordinate work assignments & training, along with providing guidance to solve problems and resolve issues.
  • Assure people, parts & processes are effectively functioning. This includes quality control checks, machine & equipment maintenance, compliance with policies & procedures, and team member performance.
  • Facilitate scheduled work orders, including required materials to fulfill work, ensuring customer requirements are met
  • Collaborate within & across the operation to drive continuous improvement
