About The Position

The Service Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Production and Service for the customers within their territory. You will need to cultivate relationships with current Lawn Squad customers. You will maintain a friendly and professional attitude while interacting with coworkers and clients. You will hire, train, measure, and coach a team of service technicians to provide superior service and results in a safe and efficient manner. You will work closely with the Branch Operation Manager that has many years of experience, to ensure a high level of quality and service is provided to all valued customers in the time assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Be willing to work Monday through Saturday
  • State of Ohio ODA license a plus
  • Forklift Certification is a plus
  • Previous lawn care or landscape experience is required
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Pesticide and turf knowledge
  • Be willing to work in various weather conditions ( we do not do snow or ice removal)
  • Must have basic computer knowledge
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Able to work at a fast-paced and results oriented environment
  • Ability to comprehend and follow procedural manuals, work instructions, and software manuals

Nice To Haves

  • State of Ohio ODA license a plus
  • Forklift Certification is a plus
  • Customer service experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Personnel Management and Development
  • Safety training and ODA regulation adherence
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the materials and equipment used
  • Check Calibration/ Usage Rates used by technicians
  • Develop procedures to minimize customer complaints
  • Verify proper application techniques
  • Inspection and quality reporting
  • Monitor inventory of products
  • Vehicle and Equipment Management
  • Customer Communication
  • Diagnose and provide solutions to customer complaints
  • Urgent Resolution of Customer Issues
  • Customer Service Resolution/ Enhancement Recommendations
  • Provide personalized, superior customer service to EVERY Weed Pro client
  • New Customer Growth/Customer Retention
  • Responsible for achieving personal sales goals
  • Educate and train staff on how to recommend add-on sales
  • Be proactive and educate the technician
