Production Section Leader
About The Position
The Production Section Leader will oversee daily production operations of the energy storage container assembly line, ensuring production plans are met on schedule. This role involves effective personnel allocation, conducting daily shift meetings, assigning tasks, and tracking progress. The leader is responsible for enforcing 5S management and safety protocols to ensure zero safety incidents, driving lean manufacturing initiatives for process optimization, and improving line efficiency and yield rates. Additionally, the role requires coordinating the resolution of production anomalies, escalating issues as needed, and being responsible for operator training, performance evaluation, and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- 5+ years of manufacturing production management experience; background in energy storage container, or sheet metal/welding industry preferred
- Familiar with lean manufacturing and IE methodologies; capable of line layout and workforce planning
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure
- Proficient in Office applications and ERP/MES systems
