About The Position
dormakaba is seeking a Production Scheduling Manager based in Indianapolis, IN. The Production Scheduling Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily execution and continuous improvement of short-term scheduling processes in support of customer demand and plant operations. This role leads a team of production schedulers, standardizing practices, driving flow, and ensuring schedule attainment. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $120,000 - $140,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in production scheduling or planning, with 2 + years in a leadership or team lead role
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; working knowledge of scheduling and order management
Nice To Haves
- SAP
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, or a related field
- CPIM or CSCP certifications
Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership and coaching to a team of production schedulers, ensuring accurate and efficient short-term scheduling across all production areas
- Standardize scheduling processes and sequencing strategies to promote consistency, reduce changeovers, and improve schedule attainment
- Facilitate weekly scheduling review meetings with cross-functional teams to align priorities, resolve issues, and ensure timely execution
- Monitor earned hours, schedule adherence, and exception resolution, driving continuous improvement through root cause analysis and follow-up actions
