About The Position

Eaton’s CPDI OPS Operations division is currently seeking a Production Scheduler. This is an ONSITE Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm located at our Raleigh, NC facility (Spring Forest Rd). As a Production Scheduler, you will be an integral member of Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Supply Chain Team, with responsibilities for production scheduling activities, loading the factories to best achieve the customer’s requirements, while managing factory capacity and inventory levels for a specified group of products. Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 3 years professional experience in supply chain or operations in a manufacturing/operations setting OR 7 years of professional experience in supply chain or operations in a manufacturing/operations setting in LIEU of degree
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of ERP requirements and customer order processing
Basic understanding of production routings, product costing, order entry, and typical supply chain functions.
Ability to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to present data effectively to support recommendations regarding production plan/master schedule
Ability to adjust work priorities to meet continuously changing schedules
Ability to set priorities and accomplish goals within time constraints.
Maintaining sense of urgency to customers’ requirements.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field OR Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
Previous experience in production planning in a Make to Order manufacturing environment
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and tool sets as they relate to production scheduling
SAP Experience
Microsoft Office proficiency
CPIM or other supply chain certification

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain master schedule accurately to generate a valid production schedule and drive material requirements accordingly.
Actively participate in the SIOP process; driving manufacturing supply review for your product line, evaluate changes in future demand and adjust forecast as required to achieve a balance between maximizing customer satisfaction and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Engineering teams to understand and strive to meet customer expectations.
Work with Manufacturing teams to ensure that the production plan and customer requests are fulfilled.
Produce various weekly and monthly reports to provide vital information to management.
Maintain master data integrity for given product lines.
Work closely with NPI project teams to support phasing in and out of products as required.
Participate and lead continuous improvement projects as part of the “Focus Factory” for your production line.
