About The Position

We're looking for a Production Scheduler to join our Supply Chain team and play a key role in balancing customer demand, inventory, raw materials, and production capacity across our operations. This is more than a scheduling position. As a Production Scheduler, you'll serve as a critical link between Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Distribution, helping ensure we deliver the right products to our customers at the right time while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. Requirements

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving scheduling issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in production scheduling, production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Experience with ERP systems (AS400 experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and scheduling best practices
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or other production planning software

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage production schedules that balance customer demand, inventory targets, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Partner with Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Sales teams to align production plans with business priorities.
  • Anticipate and resolve scheduling challenges before they impact production or customer service.
  • Analyze production performance, inventory levels, and demand trends to support informed decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide visibility and communication to key stakeholders regarding production plans, risks, and opportunities.
