Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a scheduling role.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Must be able to work with other departments and follow all food safety guidelines and HACCP requirements.
  • Must have computer skills to communicate and process data.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.

Responsibilities

  • Develop production schedules.
  • Review and analyze current production plans and adjust as necessary to fulfill external and internal customer requirements, considering operational constraints such as material availability, labor capacity, and department constraints.
  • Create future production plans by forecasting customer needs outside of firmed order placement timeframes.
  • Requisition materials according to production schedules, taking into account customer lead times, shipping constraints, and warehouse availability.
  • Adjust raw material requisitions as production plans change and/or changes occur in the process.
  • Communicate daily and weekly production priorities and schedule changes.
  • Recommend continuous improvement to the scheduling process and production flow.
  • Other duties as assigned.
