About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Saw Operator Lead to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or warehouse operations, with specific experience operating saws or similar industrial equipment. This role requires a blend of technical skill, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. As a lead, you will be responsible for guiding the saw operator team, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience operating saws or similar industrial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and delegate effectively.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive movement.
  • Comfortable working in varying warehouse and production temperatures.
  • Regular exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe footwear.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience with RF scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities
