About The Position

Responsible for sanitizing various equipment within designated work area. This role involves cleaning the interior and exterior of processing and manufacturing equipment, preparing sanitation chemicals and equipment, and ensuring all necessary caps are in proper locations. The position also requires setting up equipment in preparation for use by manually lifting and moving equipment and/or chemicals, assessing and rectifying problems on all equipment, and reading, understanding, and following standard operating procedures. Additionally, the role includes training new team members, communicating with management on a daily basis, creating work orders when needed, maintaining sanitation supply inventory, and reviewing daily CIP chart data.

Requirements

0 - 3 general work experience required.
Experience working in food production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to operate various equipment.
Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
Forklift certification a plus.
