About The Position
Sanitation plays an important role in the Food and Processing industry cleaning production equipment, machines, breakroom, floors etc. They are responsible for handling and preparing chemicals, preparing sanitizers, preparing chemical concentrations, handling and storing the chemicals and managing chemical accidents.
Requirements
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physically, must be able to: Work in high places, climb ladders and stairs, Bend, kneel and walk frequently.
- Move large objects, lift and move 50 pounds,
- Be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed and able to show up on time and as scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Safely performing all phases of the sanitation of the facility
- Maintain clean debris free facility with emphasis on safety
- Inventory all cleaning supplies weekly
- Assist in cleaning of any spill around the Feed mill
- Clean breakroom/restroom throughout the shift
- Wear proper PPE
- Clean offices daily
- Perform any task asked by management
