About The Position

This role involves reviewing products to determine necessary materials for repair, ensuring proper tools and materials are used to meet insurance quality standards. Responsibilities include grinding, sanding, cleaning, and polishing auto light lenses to restore them to an insurance quality state. The position also requires adherence to quality control and safety standards, collaboration with team members on repair methods, and maintaining a safe, hazard-free warehouse environment with a focus on injury prevention.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
Strong focus on quality – deeply care about the product and your work.
High degree of professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and interest and ability to perform work in a safe environment.
Must be able to concentrate for long periods of time while standing
Physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand various activities such as frequent walking, standing, bending, and maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience of 1 year or more in manufacturing or factory environment preferred.
Grinding and polishing repair work experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Review each product to determine the required material needed to perform the job
Ensure you have the proper tools and materials required to repair the product to an insurance quality standard
Grind, sand, clean, and polish auto lights lenses to return product to an Insurance Quality state
Ensure quality control standards are met and you adhere to safety standards
Work with team members to identify and develop improved methods of repair
Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free warehouse environment with focus on injury prevention.
