About The Position

Reformation is seeking a Production Sample Coordinator for their Women's Apparel team. This role is crucial for supporting photoshoot operational efforts and requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. The Sample Coordinator will act as a liaison between various departments, manage the sample lifecycle, and ensure accuracy in tracking systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 1+ year's relevant experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Living in Los Angeles or ability to commute to Vernon, you will work from the office almost every day.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Google Drive.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, takes initiative, and is not afraid to follow up.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative with the ability to work with cross-functional partners.
  • Bring an ambitious and passionate attitude to work daily, willing to work hard and take initiative, assertive.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Product Ops, Production, PD, and the Studio/Ecom teams to understand photoshoot priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Request, track, and manage samples for Collections, Special Projects/Influencer Collaborations, "Ref Lab" tests, and Retail Exclusives.
  • Use centralized tracking documents and PIM (Product Information Management) to monitor Import and Domestic TOP (Top of Production) samples.
  • Ensure sample availability, manage ETAs, and troubleshoot at-risk styles.
  • Manage fabric requests, coordinate with the Sample Room, enter photoshoot samples into PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and oversee the PP (Pre-Production) closet including daily pulls and archive maintenance.
  • Execute specific design requirements, such as ensuring all bottoms/jumpsuits for photoshoots meet the "+2” inseam" standard for size 2.
  • Maintain real-time accuracy in internal tracking systems, including updating status on Samples, Collab Development WIPs, and the PP closet archive.
  • Collaborate daily with Production, PD, Pattern Makers, QC, and Studio coordinators to streamline pass-offs and solve for potential bottlenecks.
