Production & Quality Specialist (Seed)

About The Position

We are looking for a Finished Goods Production & Quality Specialist to join our Operations / Supply Chain team and help manage the day-to-day execution of our seed packet production program. This role sits at the intersection of production, quality, inventory, logistics, and replenishment. You will work closely with copackers, suppliers, warehouses, 3PLs, and internal teams to ensure the right products are produced in the right quantities, meet quality and packaging specifications, and are available when and where they are needed. You will own the operational follow-through of production POs from creation through receipt, maintain visibility to finished-goods inventory across our network, coordinate production and logistics, and identify supply or service risks before they impact customers. The role also has significant responsibility for e-commerce and Amazon replenishment, including Amazon FBA inventory and the availability of seed packets needed for Amazon bundle production. Quality is a key part of the role. You will monitor finished packets against established specifications, investigate quality issues, coordinate corrective actions with production partners, and ensure issues are documented and resolved. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership. You should enjoy working with data, solving operational problems, communicating with external partners, and driving issues through to completion. Requirements

2–5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, quality, or a related field.
Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, copackers, warehouses, or 3PLs.
Experience managing purchase orders, production schedules, inventory, replenishment, or logistics.
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills with the ability to analyze and work with operational data.
Experience with an ERP system.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through to completion.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external production partners.
Comfortable identifying problems, investigating root causes, and driving corrective actions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities and production requirements can change quickly.

Nice To Haves

NetSuite experience is a plus.
Experience with e-commerce, Amazon, CPG, agriculture, seed, food, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
